Friday April 14, Good Friday, Bill and Melanie took a trip out to see the week's progress. Once again, the camera saw us getting ready to leave and went into hiding. It was warm and sunny but the wind was cool. We took coffee just in case and sure enough Mark and Scott were working. Bill had another good visit with Mark.

Sunday, April 16th, Bill and Mel took the camera for a motorcycle ride. It was sunny yet again, but quite cool. Fortunately, it was warm in the sun, out of the wind.

The shingles have started going on the guest wing. There's a little bit of work left on the south-west corner of that roof but it gave an opportunity to show the same picture as last week but with the cedar 2x in the rabbet (compare picture #8 here with picture #6 on April 9th). Sheeting on the upper part of the main roof is complete and framing has begun on the rafters for the front entry roof.
