Day 244 |

It's Stampede Parade day. Our condo is within the parade route so access in and out is restricted between 7:30 a.m. and about 1:00 p.m. Bill has an 8:00 a.m. meeting with Terry at the house and decides to stay and do some work - finishing off one gable end trim that wasn't complete, finishing the skirting and cutting some 2x6 for the from porch stairs. The garage is done, but for the floor, doors and interior wall. The basement in-slab piping is all laid and the plumber is working on the header and valves for that. The dormer windows have been installed and look great. One from one is even all trimmed out. The front entry porch is framed up and stairs are being prepared. This means also that the front entrance log columns are in place. Also, the awnings are up and one is even shingled. Inside, the dormer roofs have been spry foam insulated and in the basement the outer joists or spacers (depending on the wall) have been spray insulated as well. More plumbing and ducting has been completed upstairs. |
