The home stretch - but it seems more like we're at the 2:00 minute warning. We went out on Sunday and set up the fireplace. Got the refractory and the logs in only to find no one has set up the air and exhaust restriction - it's done now! Greg has finished all the walls, exterior trim, etc and that should be it for Mark and his guys. The plumber has been hard at it. Russell was in all week doing water and gas lines. Greg brought the boiler in Friday and started working on that. Holy crap! That's right Trevor, it looks like we're going to need a building operator to run this thing. Five circulating pumps, three motor operated valves, controls up the wazoo. There's also a humungous hot water maker. The electrician has been around. Some more of the lights are up, some are working properly and some (in the ensuite) have been turned upside-down again?!? The stone mason has arrived but nothing up yet. Needs to be done inside this week so we can get the floor finished and things cleaned up. |
